According to Hindu dharm, world cycle is divided into four yugas
Satya Yuga
Treta Yuga
Dvapara Yuga
Kali Yuga
SATYA YUGA :- Satya Yuga began on Sunday, Vaishakh Shukla Tritiya day which is also known as Akshaya Tritiya today. According to Hindu dharma this golden age lasts 1,728,000 years and the average life span of the peoples was 4000 years. Satya Yuga was the age of truth and the majority of the population is situated in the mode of goodness. In this era the Vaishya was engaged in trade and business very honestly and fairly. Brahmins were engaged in religious sacrifices, study, teaching, and charity. Kshatriya (warriors) was inclined towards exhibition of valiance and power. Shudras was sincerely served the Brahmins, Kshatriyas and Vaishyas.
TRETA YUGA :- Treta Yuga is the second Yuga out of four yugas and also called the silver age, Treta Yuga lasts 1,296,000 years and the process of self realization is the performance of opulent yajnas(sacrifices). In this age Lord Vishnu was incarnated as Vamana, Parashurama and Ramchandra.
